Traffic Management Solutions, a Warren Equity Partners Portfolio Company, Acquires Bryant-Ritter Hewitt Electric Corporation

Genz & Associates is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bryant-Ritter Hewitt Electric Corporation by Traffic Management Solutions (TMS), a portfolio company of Warren Equity Partners (WEP). Bryant‑Ritter Electric Corp is a Virginia based electrical contracting firm specializing in industrial, transportation, government and commercial electrical as well as communications and highway-construction projects.
TMS is a leading and growing specialty contractor to the transportation market and provide smart infrastructure integration services from intelligent traffic systems (ITS) and roadway signalization to tolling, highway lighting, signage, and underground utilities. In November 2022, TMS partnered with WEP, a private equity firm that invests in businesses providing mission-critical products and services to the infrastructure and building markets.
Genz & Associates was initially retained by WEP in late 2021 to find the right anchor company for their strategy and sourced TMS, the initial platform. After the transaction was completed, Genz continued to serve as the buy-side advisor to both Warren Equity and TMS to execute a strategic buy-and-build strategy.
