About Garo

Garo Zoroghlian joined the Genz team in 2021 and serves as Vice President of M&A Development. He brings more than 11 years of experience in deal origination and private equity transactions, leading proprietary deal origination and sourcing of platform and add-on opportunities across multiple sectors. Garo develops and maintains strong relationships with private equity sponsors and business owners, driving strategic growth for clients.

Over the course of his career, Garo has originated over $500 million in closed enterprise value across buyouts and strategic acquisitions, demonstrating his ability to identify and execute successful transactions. Prior to joining Genz, he spent 6 years at Phillip Roman & Company where he was Vice President for this boutique buy-side firm and held earlier roles with Venegas Herrera and Patterson Capital Corporation.

A veteran Marine, Garo served in the United States Marine Corps 2d Battalion 4th Marines and continues to embody the values of service and discipline. He is actively involved with community service, volunteering with the American Red Cross during the California wildfires, supporting relief efforts in local communities. Garo is a devoted father of two children, active in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and an Ironman triathlete – bringing the same focus and endurance to his personal and professional pursuits.
