Genz & Associates Recruits Tech and Marketing Leader Lisa Cool as Chief of Staff
March 2025 – Austin, TX. Genz & Associates, a leading buy-side M&A advisor, today announced that Lisa Cool has joined the firm as Chief of Staff to Founder & CEO Mark Genz. Lisa brings over 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, go-to-market operations, and strategic development. Her background includes participation in more than 20 corporate acquisitions, providing her with valuable insights and operational experience from both sides of the transaction table.
Prior to joining Genz, Lisa spent 9 years at global networking leader GTT, where she most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Prior to GTT she held senior leadership roles in Marketing & Sales Operations at companies operating in public cloud managed services, data center and industrial power, and communications sectors. Across these organizations she built brands, teams, strategies, and systems that enabled growth, enhanced go-to-market performance and the customer experience.
