Genz & Associates Expands Senior Business Development Team
August 2025 – Austin, TX. Genz & Associates, a leading buy-side M&A advisor, today announced the expansion of the firm’s development team, hiring Adam Morrisey as Vice President M&A Development. In his role, Adam will partner with leading investment firms and portfolio companies to support their acquisition growth strategies, while prioritizing trusted relationships with business owners and management teams to align opportunities that create long-term value for all parties.
Adam brings 12+ years of leadership and professional experience in Business Development, Private Equity, and Management Consulting to the firm. He was most recently Chief Growth Officer at Shipshape, an Austin-based technology startup. Prior to Shipshape, Adam worked in Private Equity at Trumont Group and held roles in the M&A Advisory and Assurance practices at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Adam received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University Ohio and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
